Mikel’s Letter

Dear FOA Friends and Family,

With deepest gratitude to each one of your overwhelming support, trust, and opportunities you have given me during my time at this wonderful Foundation of Arts, I have accepted a position with Marck Industries as General Manager.   It has been a privilege to serve the community and work alongside such incredible individuals in our community.  Over the last two years, I have witnessed the heart of a truly incredible organization. From our city officials, local business leaders, business owners, patrons and participants, all have shined a light of Hope through their support of the FOA and me.

Please understand that my decision is bittersweet and not one that I have taken lightly. It has come after careful reflection for the best interests of my family and overall direction of my future goals. While I have cherished my time here, it is time for me to embark on a new chapter in my life, a new season, and to pursue my personal growth and aspirations. 

I want to express my deepest appreciation to the entire team at the Foundation of Arts, who have supported and guided me throughout my journey. Their unwavering commitment to excellence and their passion for their work have inspired me daily. Their dedication and camaraderie have created an environment that fosters growth and collaboration, and I am forever grateful for having been a part of it.

As I transition into this next season of my life, I want to assure you that I will cherish the memories we have created together and the lessons I have learned from each and every interaction. While I may no longer be working for the FOA, my commitment to making a positive impact in the community remains. I will continue to support the mission of the Foundation of Arts with a full heart.

I would like to express a special heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of my journey, including my colleagues, mentors, friends, and family and especially…. Kristi Pulliam. Kristi’s unwavering support and belief in me have been the driving force behind my achievements, and I am forever grateful for your presence in my life. I’m thankful that, moving forward, Kristi has agreed to step in temporarily to guide the leadership transition as Consultant to the Board of Directors.

I deeply appreciate and respect your kindness, passion, and dedication.  Those qualities have left an indelible mark on my heart, and I am certain that our paths will cross again in the future.  The future is incredibly bright at the Foundation of Arts.
