T.A.C. Academy

The FOA is offering a supplemental education program option for the ’20-’21 school year designed for students with parents whose children’s school has closed. We will be accepting grades K-10 and will offer assistance on student assignments as well as provide PE/Art for a small additional fee. Health and safety guidelines will be followed. Please note: The FOA is not a school. TAC Academy is intended to meet a need in our community for those considering different school year options. We are un-equipped to offer special education services or Pre-K instruction. 

TAC Academy  (without the arts class option):

    • $35/day
    • Begins TBD – runs Monday through Friday, 8:15 am -2:00 pm
  • Students must supply their own tablet/laptop for virtual work as well as a login sheet with appropriate info
  • 10% off sibling discount
  • Minimum enrollment of 20 required
  • Daily intake procedures- temps/screener questions
  • At least one adult (21 or older) with college education and technology skills per 10 students will be present during the day to assist students as needed
  • Students must enroll for a minimum of 2 days per week
  • Students bring own lunch (please notify us of any allergies)
  • 2 days = $70   3 days = $100  4 days= $130   5 days = $150
  • We will follow Jonesboro Public School’s break schedule
  • Supervised outside time, Special Guest Talks, and periodic celebrations

TAC Academy  (with PE/Arts class option):

Same as above, plus:

    • an additional fee to enroll
    • PE/Arts class is 2 pm – 3 pm.  (PE will be yoga/dance related on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays.  Art class will be Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • 10% off sibling discount
  • Minimum enrollment of 10 required
  • An FOA Arts Center dance, music, or art teacher will be leading the extra curricular class
  • 2 days = $100   3 days = $145  4 days= $190 5 days = $200
